Nikon D90 Packages

The Nikon D90 DSLR is my favorite camera and here's why:

I bought the Nikon D90 package for my husband and he is so happy with it. The package deal from Amazon came with a Nikon D90 DSLR body, Nikon 18-105mm lens, 70-300mm zoom lens, digital card reader, EN-EL3e battery pack, Nikon SLR case, Image recovery software, memory card storage wallet and a deluxe 6 piece lens and dslr cleaning kit.

So far he has just scratched the surface of what this amazing camera will do. The video even works really well but does use up lots of memory, which makes sense. I’m glad I bought the package deal as it turned out to be a great buy. If we bought all the stuff separately it would have cost a couple hundred more.

The Nikon D90 package is a DSLR camera that replaces the D80. It was designed to fit between the entry level models and the professional ones. Some of the upgrades over the previous D80 are 12.3 MP resolution, live view and the first dslr to offer HD video mode. Unlike the less expensive models the Nikon D90 has a high resolution LCD monitor, a built in autofocus motor which means that all Nikon F mounted autofocus lens can be used with this camera.

Cheapest Nikon D90 package

I'm really happy with the D90 Package price that I got. I shopped a lot and this was the cheapest D90 package I could find. Nikon really hit the nail on the head with this camera. Sandwiched between lesser priced models and the more expensive pro cameras this mid range, prosumer camera really excels. I’m still learning all the stuff this camera can do and in fact just ordered a book from Amazon on how to really take advantage of all the features.

The body is solid and well built, does not feel plasticy and cheap. It feels very good in my hands. The focus motor is fairly quiet. I’ve found ISO’s above 800 to be useable without a lot of noise. I had a D50 prior to this and the new high res viewfinder is much brighter and larger and of course easier to use. The buttons are well positioned and easy to use. The large LCD is just ultra sharp, you really see what you’re shooting.

My one complaint is that the video isn’t quite there but then again it’s not a video camera.

This is not just and update to the D80, this camera is a brand new release and well worth the wait.

Overall I’m very happy with it. Compared to my old D50 this thing is built like a solid truck. It’s very ergonomic to hold and does everything very fast.

Awsome D90 !

I'm officially in love with this camera. I moved up from a Canon point and shoot. The photos I've taken so far are fantastic! The learning curve of this camera is definitely not for a beginner, but the Auto modes do help quite a bit. I've realized just how many different ways there are to royally mess up a photo! This combination of camera and lens is very, very good. Having had a few Nikon film SLR's and lenses, I can appreciate the quality of this set. The lens is pretty sharp and covers most of what you need. The camera has many, many functions and options to take just about any picture you need.
